ProPDV.Card - Configure Server

HOW TO INSTALL ONE MORE TERMINAL?

We will call the computer where the system is already running Server (which was installed by the Prodabit team) and the new computer where we will install the system of CX02.

01. Go to the server and copy the entire folder C: \ ProPDV to a USB pendrive.

02. On CX02, paste this folder into C: \ (ie at the root of drive C); Now it will look like this: C: \ ProPDV.

03. Now, in CX02, inside the folder C: \ ProPDV there are 02 others: Server and Client. Delete the Server folder and all its contents (this folder must exist only on the Server computer).

04. On CX02, go to the folder C: \ ProPDV \ Client. Inside this folder is an application named Configurator.exe. Run this app. You will see a screen as below.

POINTING CLIENT TO PROPDV SERVER:

01. When you open the Configurator, you will be presented with the next screen. Click on the line marked 4.

02. Enter a name of your choice in Identifier (1).

03. Enter the name or IP of the server computer in (2).

04. Place the configured communication port on the server (3). If the default setting has been maintained, this port is 8086.

05. The login and password fields should not be changed. Leave it as it is.

06. Click the Test Configuration button to try to connect to the server. If you can connect, click the Add button.

07. Note that in (4) only the configuration you just added is there. If the old setting is there, click on it to select it and are delete .

08. To finish the configuration, click the Confirm button.

Ready. Your new box / rear is set up.
